Dr. Charles Goodwin is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the cervical and lumbar spine. Dr. Goodwin believes in exhausting all avenues of conservative non-surgical medical treatments before pursuing adult reconstructive cervical and lumbar spine surgery, emphasizing minimally invasive techniques above others. He is an expert in performing endoscopic and minimally invasive posterior and lateral lumbar fusion procedures. Dr. Goodwin has served as the orthopedic surgeon for major athletic teams, including: the N.Y. Mets baseball team, the N.Y. Lizards lacrosse team, U.S. Golf and U.S. Open Tennis.
