Dr. Elizabeth Kiwanuka, M.D., Ph.D., is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon practicing in New York. Dr. Kiwanuka is Ivy League trained at both Harvard Medical School and Brown University and is Board-Eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She expanded her research to include a translational wound healing model and joined the Laboratory of Gene Transfer and Tissue Repair at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. After completing her Ph.D. in wound healing and tissue engineering, she was accepted to the prestigious Plastic Surgery training program at Brown University.
